MICRO NEEDLING
user2026-04-15T11:38:09+05:30Micro-needling treatment is a procedure to stimulate the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely. The technology used is advanced micro-medical skin needling. The treatment creates smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin.
Due to its ability to naturally regenerate and repair skin, the procedure is used to treat lines and wrinkles of the face and neck, aged and sun-damaged skin, scars, and stretch marks.
The procedure uses a derma roller to stimulate the skin by creating hundreds of tiny puncture holes. Your skin responds by producing extra collagen to heal the injuries, enhancing the skin, and increasing the natural blood supply to the skin.
With your skin’s collagen production on a jump-start, you will start seeing results in three months. The final and best results can be seen in 12 months. These micro punctures also increase the absorption of topical products that enhances the skin, such as vitamins. Though most commonly the procedure is used to treat the face, your hands, neck, back, and chest can also be treated.
Preparing for the treatment
Use sunscreen regularly for two days before the treatment. Refrain from using any other creams, moisturizers, or make-up on the area to be treated. Do let us know if you are on any medication.
Do not wear any makeup or use any moisturizer or sunblock on the day of the treatment.
Post-treatment care
Take care to protect yourself from the sun. Avoid saunas and steam for seven days after the treatment. Moisturizers should be applied regularly; every six hours for at least three days. Six to eight hours after the procedure, you can wash your face using a gentle face wash. Avoid using anything else on your skin for three days after the treatment.
Your skin takes 24-48 hrs to heal from this procedure. You may experience mild redness. This may last about two days. But this is normal, and you have nothing to worry about. If you have any concerns you can always call us.
We recommend a gap of 3-4 weeks between the sessions.
