Treatments Available
Scar Camouflage
MCA Scar Treatment (Multi-trepannic Collagen Actuation) is also known as dry needling or micro needling, where new tissue grows into the damaged skin and collagen, elastin and melanin production is stimulated as part of this new healing process.
Performed approximately a year after a scar has healed, MCA relaxes, flattens and softens the scar tissue, causing the body to go into a state of natural self-repair.
Once skin is re-pigmented the color is permanent and will tan and fade to the same tone and color as the surrounding skin.
If the scar does not re-pigment on its own, carefully selected shades of pigment by our team of experts can be implanted to match the color of the scar to that of the surrounding skin.
Areola and Nipple Reconstruction or Enhancement
A number of women undergo mastectomy, breast reduction, augmentation, reconstruction or uplifting surgeries. Unfortunately, these surgeries can leave behind scarring causing much physical and emotional pain.
Once the breast has fully healed from the surgery our team of experts can perform an optical reconstruction of the areola and nipple tissue, reducing discomfort and restoring the appearance of the breasts. Using carefully selected shades of pigment, the nipple and areola complex is realistically recreated with 3 dimensional shading techniques.
Prior to the treatment an in-depth consultation is conducted to determine the most optimum position, shape, color and size of areola and nipple. MCA is also used to reduce outlying scars on the surrounding breast tissue. If you have naturally pale areolas, pigments can used to darken or add a youthful flush of color to the areola.
