BOTOX TREATMENT
Botox is one of the most popular and common treatments for wrinkles. The treatment involves several targeted injections of Botox – purified protein that relaxes the tiny muscles that cause wrinkles. Botox treatment results in smoother, rejuvenated skin.
Most of the fine lines and wrinkles are a result of our facial expressions. Facial expressions such as smiling, and frowning, result in ‘dynamic’ wrinkles. Over time these expressions become permanent on our faces resulting in ‘static’ lines. Together with our expressions and environmental factors, our skin is exposed, and wrinkles on the face are created.
Botox injections are used to relax specific facial muscles that cause dynamic lines. Whilst the treatment gradually irons out these lines, it also prevents new lines from being created.
The Botox treatment does not affect your natural expressions – the result is simply a relaxed, rejuvenated, and refreshed look.
The procedure is simple and straightforward, with no downtime. You can start seeing full results in seven days. Your skin condition will improve for up to a month. Botox has gained a proven 20-year safety record, it is one of the most popular, effective, and safe treatments for wrinkles. But it is not a permanent solution and you will require touch-ups every 3-5 months depending on your skin.
