MANAGER –PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & REGULATORY AFFAIRS
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the company’s products comply with the regulations of the relevant regions
- Develop and write clear arguments and explanations for new product license renewal
- Prepare submissions of license variations and renewals to strict deadlines
- Provide advice to senior management throughout the development of a new product
- Undertake and manage regulatory inspections
- Negotiate with regulatory authorities for marketing authorization and make presentations where necessary
- Take part in the development of marketing concepts and approve packaging and advertising before a product received
Prerequisite Qualification & Experience
- At least a good honors degree in Biochemistry /Biotechnology/Biomedical Engineering /Biomedical Science
- Minimum 10 years of proven track record in the industry with similar Job role
- Good understanding of both legal and scientific matters
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and to assimilate and evaluate scientific data
- Good analytical, Problem solving skills and to strict deadlines
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong negotiation skills
